For those of you who follow our band Three Metre Day, this summer we released five brand new videos. Each shot was bathed in natural light, streaming in from the floor to ceiling windows of 80 Gladstone. We were joined by our friends and bandmates Maury LaFoy (bass) and Mark Mariash (drums). We performed songs new and old. We drank coffee from trendy Queen West. All in all it was a good day. Our videographer and audio king was Patric McGroarty, a wonderful person to work with should you ever need similar work. Want to take a sneak peak? We have one more new video for you. This one is a-somethin special. Not too long ago we decided we should try to make our own videos (I personally failed and have yet to show my filming prowess). Don created a travelogue video for an alternate version of our song We Now Hope We Win. Hugh filmed us while we played the song This Day Is Getting Old, an often left-out track from our album Coasting Notes but one we hold dear for its intimacy and space. I hope you love this.
